Description
Sit at a preacher bench with your upper arms resting on the angled pad. Curl a barbell or EZ-bar from full extension to full contraction, then lower under control. The preacher bench eliminates all cheating by locking the upper arms in place. This exercise emphasizes the lower portion of the biceps near the elbow, creating that full, round look. Arnold used preacher curls to develop the lower biceps and ensure full development from origin to insertion. Use a full range of motion—extend completely at the bottom.
