Description
Lie face down on a leg curl machine with the pad behind your ankles. Curl your legs up by bending at the knees, bringing your heels toward your glutes, then lower under control. This is the primary isolation exercise for the hamstrings. Arnold emphasizes the importance of hamstring development for both aesthetics and injury prevention—strong hamstrings protect the knee joint during heavy squatting.
