Front Squats

Description
Hold a barbell across the front of your shoulders (clean grip or cross-arm grip). Squat down keeping your torso very upright—more upright than a back squat. The front-loaded position shifts emphasis heavily to the quadriceps and requires significant core stability. Arnold used front squats to develop the teardrop shape of the inner quad (vastus medialis). Go as deep as flexibility allows while maintaining an upright torso.
